Appartamento a Parigi

Miei cari lettori, come ormai sapete, il mio cuore oscilla da tempo tra due grandi amori: la Svezia e Parigi. Eh già, adoro la semplicità e il calore degli interni svedesi, ma, nello stesso tempo, sono irresistibilmente attratta da quello stile eclettico e rilassato così tipico di tante case parigine. Ed è proprio in un appartamento a Parigi che vi porto oggi. Immediatamente colpita dalle grandi finestre con vista sulla Torre Eiffel, ho scoperto uno spazio pieno di personalità. Elementi originali d’epoca come il bellissimo camino in marmo, icone del design (la Chaise Longue LC4 di Le Corbusier, la Lounge Chair degli Eames, il daybed e i pouf Barcelona di Mies Van Der Rohe), pezzi scovati nei mercatini (fantastiche le vecchie sedie da cinema!), arte e tanti libri. Allora ditemi, non sarebbe un sogno svegliarsi qui domani? Io con la mia testa sono già partita.

My dear readers, as you know, my heart is between two great loves: Sweden and Paris. Oh yes, I love the simplicity and warmth of Swedish interiors, but, at the same time, I’m attracted to the eclectic and relaxed style typical of many Parisian homes. And today I bring you in a Paris apartment. Immediately in love with the large windows with views of the Eiffel Tower, I found a space with a lot of personality. Original period features such as the beautiful marble fireplace, design icons (the Chaise Longue LC4 by Le Corbusier, the Eames Lounge Chair, the Barcelona daybed and ottoman by Mies Van Der Rohe), flea market finds (the old cinema chairs are fantastic!), art and many books. So, it would be a dream to wake up there tomorrow, isn’t it? I’m already there with my mind.
