Un appartamento a Berlino con un favoloso mix di design e recupero

Soffitti alti. Porte e pavimenti originali d’epoca (questi ultimi trattati per renderli più chiari). Tonalità soft appena ravvivate da accenti di colore. Un bel mix di design e pezzi di recupero. Tante piante. Dove siamo? A Berlino, in un appartamento in un edificio del 1887, vestito dalla stylist Sarah Van Peteghem del blog Coco Lapine Design per l’agenzia immobiliare Fantastic Frank. Da tempo innamorata dello stile minimale ma personale di Sarah (guardate altri suoi lavori qui e qui), sono rimasta particolarmente colpita dal carattere che ha saputo dare a questa casa. Tanti gli spunti da annotare, ma la cosa che ho trovato più interessante è la cucina. Eh già, avreste mai detto di poterla realizzare con i carrelli dei pasti usati negli aerei? Della serie “non c’è mai fine alle possibilità di reinventare la funzione di un oggetto”.

I love the minimalist but personal style of Sarah (see her works here and here). And I was attracted by the character that she gave to this home. There are so many ideas for inspiration, but the most interesting one for me is in the kitchen. You ever thought possible to realize it with old airline meal trolleys? There is no end to the possibilities of repurposing an object.
