A vintage Turkish rug. A mirror next to the couch to visually expand the space. A piece of raw wood, propped up with stacks of magazines, used as a shelf. An old trunk repurposed as a dresser in the bedroom. Should I continue? Oh yes, there are many ideas for inspiration in the home of the designer Kate Arends. An apartment in Minneapolis, USA, furnished with a beautiful mix of old and new, IKEA pieces and design icons. I love the warm and relaxed atmosphere of this home. A cozy space with a lot of personality. And what do you think?

I love the Diamond chairs by Harry Bertoia! They are a wonderful design icon, but, since they belonged to Kate’s grandmother, they have also a sentimental value for her.

P.S.: I have already posted this picture here.
