I miei preferiti della settimana #35

Soffitti altissimi, grandi vetrate, tonalità neutre mescolate con delicati accenti rosa. Dove siamo?

High ceilings, huge windows, neutral tones mixed with soft pink accents. Where are we? In the Netherlands, in a former church turned into a cozy family home sweet as a marshmallow.

A gorgeous herringbone floor, an eclectic mix of styles and Moroccan Berber rugs. I immediately fell in love with this apartment. Another interesting portrait on The Socialite Family.

P.S.: The Vertigo lamp in the bedroom is wonderful! If you share this love with me, look at the roundup of images that I posted here.

A lovely 40 square meters apartment, in Antwerp, designed by the Belgian architecture firm Komaan!. Using a white base and plywood elements, they created an airy and bright space. I like it so much. And I, especially, love how the vintage pieces stand out on the white background. The built-in vestibule dividing the living area from the bedroom is fab too.

Who loves Scandinavian interiors may have noticed these Andy Warhol’s posters. If you wonder why they are widely present in Nordic homes, go to un due tre ilaria blog and all doubts will be dissolved.

This week I told you that beautiful textiles are enough to create a warm and cosy bed. And today I came across this fantastic bedroom. A further example of the magic of linen bedding. But that’s not all. Take a look at the night stands. On one side a repurposed crate and, on the other, a piece from House Doctor. I find that the mix of design and repurposing is one of the key elements to add character to a room. And what do you think?
